Oh and let’s play a drinking game. Every time you see unequivocally in this take a shot of Tequila (or anything cheap….and brown because #blacklivesmatter).
“Not to be sexist but I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman. Just because every other position that exists I think a woman could do well. But president?” — T.I.
My comments about women running for president were unequivocally insensitive and wrong. I sincerely apologize to everyone I offended.

Rapper, T.I., which stands for the The Idiot, was in the news for offensive remarks about women he since apologized for. T.I., he stay saying some ignant shit.
Basically, he went on the radio and said a woman couldn’t handle being president of the U.S. Then said something about it being like a joke about Black men intended to be funny. Later he called his remarks “inappropriate” and “borderline offensive”.
“Same stereotypes that all rappers carry guns and shoot people and black men abandon their children.” (actual T.I. statement)
But aren’t jokes based off the presumption of it being valid in some shape and form? Because if stereotype jokes aren’t based off some amount of veracity then Black men who are rappers don’t carry guns, shoot people and abandon their children then what is T.I. apologizing foooooorrrr? How dare we as humans, women, and Americans get offended by a joke? T.I. it’s not that I think you don’t need to be discussing politics, it’s just that you don’t need to be discussing politics. Now are there a group of musicians who can? Yes. You ain’t in that group. Why? Because you say words like“sophisticatedly ratchet.”
“But the president, it’s kind of like, I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally–they make very permanent, cemented decisions–and later, it’s kind of like it didn’t happen or they didn’t mean for it to happen.” (actual T.I. statement)
What life on God’s green Earth have you be living? Who did you hurt who then hurt you?
“I think you might be able to elect the Loch Ness Monster elected before you [could get a woman].” (actual T.I. statement)
This fool is a fool. Comments like that are a prime example of how there are people in the world who believe a leprechaun is at the end of a rainbow.
But let’s talk about emotions because if being emotional makes you unqualified, President Obama showed emotion many, many times.
Times Obama Showed Emotion
The time who grew emotional once reelected in 2012.
The time he became overwhelmed with emotion to address the tragic Sandy Hook Elementary shooting that left 26 people dead–20 of them children.
Or the countless times he has to publicly address somber situations. Like when an emotional white supremacist murdered a group of Christian worshippers at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Like when an emotional white extremist killed nine people at Umpqua Community College. (see what I did there).
Even the house speaker, John Boehner had his share of PDE (public display of emotions). Are we to then say these men shown signs of instability and are incapable of making sound judgement calls because they tend to let a couple of tears drop? But as women, the judgement is unequivocally unfair all because we are more prone to get hormonal. We’ll probably blow up Mongolia because our period came on. We’ll probably disband all law enforcement agencies because Chick-Fil-A ran out of polynesian sauce. We’ll probably chop off your penis Lorena Bobbitt style because you cheated on us. I mean the infinite list of rash, cemented and permanent decisions we can make simply because we aren’t men or Loch Ness monsters are probably why we should be president.
I also would like to know what are these “other positions” which would be a better fit for us because I just know he isn’t talking about politics—women hold less than 20% of congressional seats. I just know he isn’t talking about sports. Dr. Jen Welter became the first woman in NFL history to have a coach position in 2015. And he can’t be talking about rap music since the only women currently dominating on all fours in a wax museum is Nicki Minaj. I know he can’t be talking about being stylists, makeup artists or beauticians since men hold those position as well.
Stop apologizing when you meant what you meant, it’s annoying. When we think before we speak we wouldn’t have to be uploading videos to the internet to explain that our sexist comments weren’t sexist, but a joke. So yes T.I., you were being sexist, unequivocally.
